New Charity of the Year!
As part of hospitality group Quarter, we describe ourselves as proudly Bristolian – but what does that mean? For us, it means giving back. We’re an independent Bristol business which means we will always try to help improve our city – not just by encouraging more and more visitors and investment to our city, but by giving back to the community.
For years, we’ve been delighted to support a range of local Bristol charities including Changes Bristol, St Peter’s Hospice, Jessie May and Urban Pursuit. We’ve hosted some cracking fundraisers over the years and this year promises to be no different.
We’re happy to announce that Quarter’s charity for 2023 - 2024 is Caring in Bristol!
Caring in Bristol’s mission is to create a city empowered to solve homelessness.
They work with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness to bring about lasting change in Bristol and beyond. They find gaps in Bristol’s provision for people experiencing homelessness and work together with our community to create innovative projects to fill them. The annual Caring at Christmas project is the largest project of its kind in the south west, but all their projects work hard every week of the year to solve the issues that cause homelessness in Bristol.
For more information on what they do and how individuals can help, head over to the Caring in Bristol website.
Our charity committee is already at work organising the teams within the company to begin fundraising – watch this space for details!
If you'd like to donate to this fantastic casue, you can do so via our special Justgiving page here.
